Often known as “Smoker's Paradise”, this is a hard-scrabble colony that is focused on self-sufficiency. Most people live on small, subsistence farms. The people grow enough food to live and spend the rest of their time smoking, a lot. If you wonder what they smoke, you name it, they smoke it. Since the air is so gritty, everyone gets lung infections anyway, so no one cares. The chief import is biocubes to produce pulmonary medicines.
Pirates and smugglers love the place, because the space cop contingent consists of 1 patrol ship, and the local militia are kind of not worried about things. They all answer to the Colonial Governor Stan McCrunchy, who's cool with most things.
