At first glance, this planet should be a paradise. It has a breathable atmosphere, and water covers the surface. Native flora and fauna are alien but not deadly. However, the radiation from the star this planet circles occasionally throws off a powerful wave of radiation that wrecks all sorts of the mechanisms that are required in space travel. Over the course of several cycles, ships would arrive at this system only to be crippled as all function and power are destroyed. The crews froze or suffocated to death soon after.

Since this discovery, the system of Heartbreak has been left unused and marked as a hazard to space travel.
