Space Bastards

Founded by a fragment of the navy at the end of the great Galactic Civil War, Admiral Fraxlon distributed fringe sectors of space to his captains who held their worlds in exchange for providing warships to the admiral when called upon. The descendants of these captains still keep the arrangement providing a fleet to the Lord Admiral. The Fleet Invincible has degenerated into a pirate nation attacking and plundering nearby worlds. They are widely called “barbarians” by their neighbors in the UGH, GUH and HUG, none of whom recognize the Fleet as a legitimate government.
