Captain Jerome is on the run. He was a go-getter in the Free Galactic Rocket Corps, an organization dedicated to protecting mankind from exotic perils. However, his team discovered secrets that the government did not want to be made public, so he and his company were framed for crimes that they didn't commit and were forced to go into hiding or flee.

Jerome himself was on his way to seek help from his beloved Uncle Fargus when he got the news of the old pirate's death by being shot in the face.

Jerome is being pursued by his arch-enemy Leopold Starker, a grim agent of the Chamber of Justice.
