Orkings
Grand Overlord, Trom the Eye Gouger, is a bandit lord who has set up a stockade war camp, known as Orkingrad, in the Trimarch. He is a half-orc fighter noted for his brutality and for gouging out eyes. He took over a small band of Orkin (a group with long-time human/orc mixed ancestry) and slowly attracted more and more Orkin and Half-orc renegades, outlaws and refugees to his band. He calls the band “The Orkings” promising that they will rule as kings over all lesser beings. He sees the Trimarch as a perfect place to build an empire.
The Orkings will sell some of their loot, including weaponry, but only to fellow half-orcs or orc tribes already known to them. They will also trade with some allied bandit kings, but only at fixed market times and places. Any merchants or travelers showing up at Orkingrad are mostly likely to be despoiled and either killed or enslaved. They are, however, the region's premier producer of Orc Liquor, under the direction of Brew Master Spit.
