However, from past experience I've found that using it makes life worse rather than better. So, just like Tolkein, I think we should use “Modern English Translations” of the names of the months, and will just ignore days of the week.

For our purposes, there are 12 months of 30 days each (to regularize Living Expenses). Each year will begin with January and run to December, just like our calendar.

Our “Funnel” session will be in Common Year 575. The regular campaign will begin in 576.
