Richards Fashions is the largest clothing manufacturer in Gotham, by volume of output, not necessarily in gross dollar sales. Richards specialises in work clothes, cheap suits and simple dresses of cheap fabric. Richards has supplied Smedley's Department Stores for a long time, but recently there have been rumors they might lose the contract.

Pressure from Smedley's, the Garment Workers Union, the Falcone Family, and even All Americans have forced the Richards board into deep worry, some desperate action may be in the works. The president is Dale Richards, the head of marketing is Larry Flanders, the head of production is Edgar Tracy.
