Garment Workers Union
The Garment Workers' Union is a new and aggressive outfit, beginning to unionize the shops in the Fashion District. They were heavily infiltrated both by the Falcone Family and the Communist Party who had been on the verge of violent confrontation. The last two leaders of the union who weren't Communist stooges or under the thumb of the gangsters were President Franklin Olson and Treasurer Maggie Dunphy.
However, when Dunphy was murdered by a Falcone stooge named Paul “Beans” Bologna, the Gotham City Restoration Project intervened. Team C broke up a riot at Myrtle May's!!, killed Bologna and then proceeded to hunt down and kill the Falcone capo in charge of the fashion rackets, Gino “the Porcupine” DeLeone. They also destroyed the Communist cell and it's leader “The Red Bomber.” Despite the wanton loss of innocent life in the process, the garment workers under Olson were able to clear out the remaining bad elements.
