The Belgian Grudge Against the Puma Man

When Evil Donald Pleasance's zeppelin was destroyed in a fiery cataclysm, it rained debris all over the Dutch and Belgian countryside. The Dutch took a live-and-let-live attitude, but the Belgians nursed a severe grudge, blaming the Puma Man for the disaster and loss of life. As a result, they held a trial, in absentia, sentenced Puma Man to death, and offered a significant bounty to any Belgian citizen who brought in the Puma Man, dead or alive. Since this process is legally questionable, no other nation has even considered extraditing Puma Man, and since his identity is a mystery to all, Tony Farms need not fear law enforcement, only the occasional Belgian Bounty Hunter.

The first to attempt to collect the bounty was Emil DuFlandre an experienced mercenary, but he was killed by Falcone gangsters who were trying to assassinate someone Puma Man was guarding.

New attempts to assassinate the Puma Man came from the master trap-maker Henri Van Der Looff.
