Space Bastards

This is the military department of the UGH government. Each Space Sector has a Sector Fleet commanded by a Sector Admiral who commands all the squadrons in the sector. The head of the Navy is the Grand Union Admiral who has command authority over all the fleets in the UGH. Most ships in the fleet are assigned to Squadrons of varying number of various sized ships. A squadron of large direct-combat ships is commanded by a Rear Admiral. A squadron of medium sized patrol or escort ships is commanded by a Commodore. A squadron of smaller vessels or transports is commanded by a Captain.
