Admundfort is the capitol city of the Shieldlands only insomuch as The Knights of the Holy Shielding are based there. This hold order holds several key keeps and border forts throughout the Shield Lands. Many of the Shield Lands nobility are members of this order.

Admundfort lies an island, some two miles off the coast of the Shield lands proper, in the Nyr Dyr. It is the largest town in the Shield Lands. Admundfort is ruled by Holmer, the Earl of Walworth, who is the most powerful noble and leader of the Knights of Holy Shielding.

Admundfort is an important port. Much of the Shield Lands agricultural production bound for other lands passes through these docks. Thus Admundfort is an important center for trade and commerce for the Shield Landers.
