The Hundred directly to the West of Jorvikburg ruled directly by the Earl is known as the West Jorvik Hundred. Some notable settlements in this hundred include:

• Thomas' Village - The marketplace furthest to the West in all of Jorvikshire. Its most famous resident is Elder Thomas, son of Thomas along with his sons all named Thomas.
• Abbot's Town - The site of Grey's Abbey, a small enclave of monks.
• New Jerusalem - A tiny settlement that once belonged to the Pigeon Hills Hundred.
