Wuudchester is a timber outpost consisting of a stout wooden tower, a wooden house and a wooden barn, all connected by a log palisade sections.  It was begun in August 576, finished in early September.   The outpost was paid for, planned and the construction guarded by [[sirjohn|Sir John of Gerk]] to serve as his home and as a base for his allies during their expeditions to Petestone Keep and the nearby sections of the Bandit Kingdoms.  The post is located in the hills around the abandoned mine that some of Sir John's comrades had cleared of filthy hoborgs.
