====== Essence of Krangor ======

This alchemical substance is typically used by adventurers and addicts. It is sometimes called by a slang street name such as "rango," "wheeze" or "[[https://www.lordsofhack.com/polychronopolis/doku.php?id=crazy_krangor_clowns|Polychronopolis Healing Potion]]."

If breathed in, there is a 75% chance that it will instantly impart 6 temporary hit points (first to be lost), but 25% it will do 1d3 damage instead. This effect lasts 1 hour and taking a second dose within the hour results in immediate unconsciousness for the rest of the hour.

Certain battle-trained experts have developed a method of using Krangor to instantly revive a critically wounded patient, or to patch up a wound in seconds, rather than the 10 minutes or so it takes normally (see the Jack Skill "Battle Medic.")
