The small federal courthouse for Gotham City and its surroundings is in the Gotham Proper district. It contains a court room, 2 smaller hearing rooms, judges chambers, the FBI office and the Marshal's office. The Federal Marshals have a large office and run the whole building. There is a jail in the basement for holding federal prisoners.
