CASTLE EGMAR
Castle Egmar was founded by a High Priestess of LADY KNOWLEDGE who was disgusted by the toleration for Chaos that existed in most civilized states, and especially in and around Polychronopolis. High Priestess Mildred the Fair was succeeded by High Priestess Julianna the Mild, and now currently by High Priestess Helena of the Mighty Star. There is a full temple to Lady Knowledge at one end of the castle grounds, and an amazing library at the other.
There are around 7500 inhabitants of the farm country around the castle, there would be more apart from the proximity of the Mud Orcs. There are 100 full-time castle guards and 1200 well trained pike and crossbowmen in the freehold militia. While it is a safe, decent place to live, Egmar is highly unforgiving of lawbreakers (and to a lesser extent, stupid people).
