LAND WIGHTS

The Land Wights are they spirits of particular locations; they can never move more than a mile from their home. Most are neutral or benign, often offered sacrifices of food or milk by simple villagers and pagans. However, when a land area is polluted by evil, the Land Wights can be corrupted and respond by attacking strangers with spiritual force (attacking the WIS of the victim with horrific visions of fear and loathing to drive them mad). Corrupted Land-wights count as “Evil”, others do not.

LESSER LAND-WIGHT (3 HD Shaper)

  • Disembodied Spirit: cannot attack or be attacked physically
  • AC: 13 HD 3 HP 13
  • Resistance: 13;
  • Mods: W-1, N+3/S+5
  • Speed: 25' (may move through physical objects)
  • Morale: +3
  • Stealth +3, Perception +3
  • Spiritual Attack: +5, hit will stun target for 1 round, 1d4 Wisdom Damage
  • Frightening Visage: normally invisible, can appear as an apparition, forcing a morale check to all mortals seeing it (1 time per turn).
  • Moving the Land: as active action can change 270 cubic feet of land at its home.
  • Standard Attack-1, 1d12 damage (vs spirits only).

GREATER LAND-WIGHT (7 HD Shaper)

  • Disembodied Spirit: cannot attack or be attacked physically
  • AC: 15 HD 7 HP 29
  • Resistance: 15;
  • Mods: W+1, N+5/S+9
  • Speed 30' (may move through physical objects)
  • Morale+5
  • Stealth +5, Perception +5
  • Spiritual Attack: +9, hit will stun target for 1 round, 2d4 Wisdom Damage
  • Frightening Visage: normally invisible, can appear as an apparition, forcing a morale check to all mortals seeing it (1 time per turn).
  • Moving the Land: as active action can change 270 cubic feet of land at its home.
  • Standard Attack +1, 2d12 damage (vs. spirits only)

ANCIENT LAND-WIGHT (12 HD Shaper)

  • Disembodied Spirit: cannot attack or be attacked physically
  • AC: 18 HD 12 HP 49
  • Resistance: 18;
  • Mods: W+4, N+8/S+12
  • Speed: 30' (may move through physical objects)
  • Morale: +8
  • Stealth +8,, Perception +8
  • Spiritual Attack: +12, hit will stun target for 1 round, 3d4 Wisdom Damage
  • Frightening Visage: normally invisible, can appear as an apparition, forcing a morale check to all mortals seeing it (1 time per turn).
  • Moving the Land: as active action can change 270 cubic feet of land at its home.
  • Standard Attack +4, 3d10+1 damage (vs. spirits only)
