The taxation is mostly collected in the form of tolls and fees and harvest shares and the rate given is the average the overlord receives, after tax-collecting expenses. In the Wilderness, local adventurer-lords get the entire take. In the Realm, a Lord typically gets 75% of the take and passes the rest to the Duke. A Baron gets 85% and passes the rest to the Duke. A Chartered City government gets 85% and passes the rest to the Duke. Dukes pass on 5% of their income to the King, and Princes 4%.
