=====THE OUT BEYOND=====

Beyond the [[frontier|THE FRONTIER]] is expansive space of unknown worlds.   The [[ugh_star_navy|UGH STAR NAVY]] occasionally makes patrols, but no full survey has even been made of even a fraction of the expanse.  It is known that some human barbarians, unconnected to either the [[fleet_invincible|THE FLEET INVINCIBLE]] or [[renegades|RENEGADES]] have emerged from the Out Beyond in strange spaceships to cause trouble in the Frontier.  Also, some of the few survey and scout vessels sent out have disappeared without trace.
