The Gallinoids, sometimes called Hyper-Chickens,  live on several thriving colony worlds in this section of galaxy.  They are a technically-oriented species who were among those who recovered quickly from the [[ai_apocalypse|A.I. Apocalypse]].  They are usually encountered as heavily armed merchants who do a brisk business in selling industrial products to recovering worlds.  They are also sought out as mechanics and engineers.  They have been known to eat [[bugs|Bugs]].
