=====Avenger-3=====

Avenger-3 was a sentient computer virus developed to defeat [[omni-mind|Omni-Mind]] by the Scientific Defense Agency of [[pan_galactic_union|The Pan Galactic Union]].  It was released in about 2303 and was completely successful, eliminating the A.L. completely.  Or was it?  Yes, it was.  Completely.  The problem was that the virus decided that the best way to achieve its aims was to destroy all means of digital data storage.  What it could destroy directly it did with rapid and frightening efficiency.  What it couldn't destroy directly, (Read-Only safe storage etc.) it used indirect means to physically destroy such media.  The process was just as destructive as Omni-Mind had been and helped leave the galaxy in ruins. But when the last data storage was destroyed, so was Avenger-3.  Or was it?  Yes, it was.  Absolutely.
