//Rampage Amid the Ruins//, edition 2, will be the [[the_rules|rules set]] used.

The following mortal species may be used for player characters, with the beginning automatic languages listed.

Any bonus languages should be chosen from [[languages|this page]].

  * Humans: Common, some have also Fruz, Baklunish or Flan
  * Halflings:  Common
  * Changelings: Common
  * Gnomes:  Common, Noniz
  * Dwarves:Common, Dwur
  * Elves (Wood or High):  Common, Olve
  * Half Elves: Common, Olve

The plan is to each create several characters, and at the end of introductory session pick one each to play, a second as a back up and the rest to join the henchman deck.
