=====1000 Bones=====

One-Thousand Bones is the location of the easiest ford across the Retensa River in [[trimarch|The Trimarch]].  It is a favorite crossing of [[horned_society_summary|Horned Society]] raiders.  The [[knights_of_the_holy_shielding|Knights of Holy Shielding]] maintain a basic wooden watch tower on the Hill of One-Thousand Bones which overlooks the ford, but it is only occasionally manned.  At times, a log bridge spans the river, but it is frequently destroyed by one side or the other,

Most of our heroes took part in the Third Battle of 1000 Bones here in April of CY 575.
