WHAM is the second most powerful station in Gotham. It is a CBS affiliate and is also the carrier for the broadcasts of some performances of the Gotham Opera Company. There's been some buzz about a new musical variety program produced by the station; it's called Jim Dandy's Banjo Cavalcade, and is becoming quite popular. The WHAM studios are in Old Gotham just a few blocks from City Hall. The station manager is Sammy Cohen, a transplant from Long Island.
