+WHAM is the second most powerful station in Gotham.   It is a CBS affiliate and is also the carrier for the broadcasts of some performances of the [[opera house|Gotham Opera Company]].  There's been some buzz about a new musical variety program produced by the station; it's called [[Jim Dandy's Banjo Cavalcade|Jim Dandy's Banjo Cavalcade]], and is becoming quite popular.  The WHAM studios are in [[old_gotham|Old Gotham]] just a few blocks from City Hall.  The station manager is [[Sammy Cohen|Sammy Cohen]], a recent transplant from Long Island.
