Established in whaling days The Gotham Sail Works produced acres of sail canvas for shipping over decades. Finally, it closed down just before the turn of the century. It has been empty ever since and has been slowly decaying. It is surrounded by a sturdy fence and the front gate is locked. No one, however, takes care of or watches the place. It has gotten a sinister reputation in Bludhaven over the decades and is shunned by the locals.
