This “picture palace” was a popular destination and landmark throughout the 1920s. The disadvantaged youth of Bludhaven love their cinema and were regular patrons until the older generation led by Mayor Buckhouse protested the “lascivious moving pictures” because of the way it depicts women dancing and wearing men's garb.
