Road Moot began as the temporary seasonal encampment of the Deirthu Tribe of Shadarian nomads, but when the caravan road really began to thrive it turned, at least partially, into a small town with various businesses to serve the caravan trade.   Because the Deirthu tribe got this concession, and no [[way_stations|Way Station]] was built here, they have become economically dependent on the trade and fiercely loyal to [[shadar_city|Shadar City]] as a result.
This, however, caused the other nomad tribes to become incredibly jealous of the Deirthu, especially the Yoomu Tribe of [[Herd Moot|Herd Moot]].  The current chief of the Deirthu clan is a money-grubbing, entitled legacy named Shug Magok

Shopping at Road Moot:  Anything that has to do with horses, wagons or containers can be bought here, and  a 10gp max day-trip is also available.
