When Polychron conquered Grag the Wicked and added it to the Kingdom of Kotharia, he organized the good farmland to the north of the city into the March of Chronos (named from his family naming tradition).  The Haramantian humans, Half-elves and Half-orc farmers from the area near the city were soon augmented by a large wave of Kotharian humans, together with some halflings and doggers to fill up the area up to the northern edge of the map and to put the entire territory under intense cultivation.

While, the [[city|City]] is ruled by the [[Podesta|Podesta]] and the [[great_houses|Great Houses]], the rest of the Marchland is ruled by a [[Marcher Lord|Marcher Lord]] with his seat at Castle Argon.  

The Town of [[Farmington|Farmington]]:  this is a bustling agricultural town of nearly 10,000 people involved in trades that support the multitude of farmers there about.  The town is over 90% Kotharian human in population. 

The Fortress of [[Rathgard|Rathgard]] is home to a regiment of standing soldiers of the King, under an appointed High Captain.

[[Amra|Castle Amra]] is the secondary castle of the Marcher Lord.

[[Argon|Castle Argon]] the the seat of the Marcher Lord.

[[Temple Zureth|Temple Zureth]] is a truly ancient site, dating back to the age of Elves.

[[Temple Horizon|Temple Horizon]] is a large temple to all the Lawful gods.

[[R3|R3]]--The Broken Tower of Thorgok, a broken and shunned fortress ruin that was built by an orcish warlord in the era of Chaos.

FARMING VILLAGES:  the entire zone is littered with a multitude of small farming villages and hamlets, like Peak Onion and Dungbramble near the[[r3| tower]] of Thorgok.

Shopping in the Villages:  Generally speaking, only food, poor quality clothing and blankets, and beverages can be easily purchased.  A simple weapon (i.e. not a sword or crossbow) can be repaired by a blacksmith.  Other purchases must be made in a proper town.
