Feelicks the Catling, a.k.a. Kung-Fu Kitty

A conversation takes place one night at Ramthor's tavern. Big Jake and Feelicks get to talking about their common adventuring friends and the adventures they have, wherein Feelicks states his desire to acquire a spidersilk shirt such that he can actually stand in on more combats.  Jake realizes that here is a 'feline after his own heart' (i.e. a fellow Chaotic) and offers Feelicks enough money to buy the shirt provided he comes to work for him. Feelicks is so touched by the offer that he not only agrees but also decides to initiate himself to Jake's 'King.' (Slaughter King)

They then work out a deal wherein Feelicks will work for Jake for 20% of Jake's take from adventuring (and some small consideration for any magical items that may best work for him) until such time as he reaches 6th level. At the time, he is free to go on his own way or stay as a full partner. Jake will also provide for Feelick's normal upkeep during this time... Feelicks is free to spend his share of the take any way he pleases.
