Dear Mildred,

Listen Mildred, how many times do I have to tell you, I didn’t run off to Vegas with some floosie.  I mean, I wouldn’t have taken Billy and Felix along if I had, would I?   You saw Billy’s autograph from Jerry Lewis, he’s showing it to EVERYONE.  Look, I got good money for the Lake Meade gig, and even paid off the Wagon.  Could I have done that if I were spending all my time and money on hookers and blackjack for the 2 days I was gone?
