Graven Images

When a carved statue is honored, worshiped and given sacrifice, it sometimes is inhabited by a demon. Then, through some astrological process it gains the power to speak, move AND KILL!

Baal

A Baal is a graven image, either of stone, clay or bronze, in the shape of a muscular man, sometimes with bull-like features, and sometimes even a bull's head. It wears a conical head-piece and carried a club or mace. Often worshipped by devil-cults in the Old World, Baals were also commonly the focus of worship in the Atlantean cities of the New World. Animated Baals are still worshiped by the degenerate beast-men in parts of the continent. A Baal never needs check morale.

Nehustan

When a devilish idol is made in the shape of a snake or dragon, it is called a Nehustan. These are often animated by a demonic spirit to encourage degenerate worshippers to offer sacrifice to the forces of evil. The Nehustan will attack either with a fiery breath blast, or by biting. It never need check morale.
