Founded by the Legion of Sorcery, this venerable institution employs legion members to create scrolls for sale to the public.  The place is run by Chancellor Thrundez, a grim, hard-working fellow.  You are likely to find at least 1 copy of any first level magic-user spell here, selling for 200gp.   Scrolls of level 2-3 magic user spells can be commissioned for 200gp per spell level, taking 1 week per level to complete.  Members of the Legion of Sorcery get a 10% discount.

There are also a dozen mundane scribes working here who produce copies of ordinary books, charters, maps etc.  You can also buy scroll making materials and blank spell books here.
