This forest marks the southern border of [[dukedom_of_thranconia|Thranconia]].  As terrifying and dangerous as the [[coast_forest|Coast Forest]] might be, the Red Forest is more so.   It is filled with screaming monsters and is nearly impossible to cross.  Even the [[elf_tribes|elf kindreds]] within are sullen, cruel and angry.
