=====HALFLING VILLAGES=====

Halflings are not native to this particular continent, and came with the human settlers from Karlsland when [[dukedom_of_thranconia|Thranconia]] was founded.


The majority of halflings in the region live in a series of villages located near [[gant_keep|Gant Keep]] in the [[north_thranconia|North Thranconia Countryside]].  Although some have migrated into [[krand|the Town of Krand]] and the [[harbortown|Town of Harbortown]].  They can be encounted elsewhere in the Dukedom as travelers and occasional migrants.


There are rumors of a few forest Halfling Villages located in the [[Pine Wood|Pine Wood]], descended from communities that escaped the destruction of [[dukedom_of_great_vale|Great Vale]].
