+It is a mystery how this colony survives.  It seems to produce nothing except the output of a single oremass mining complex.   The government center is small but relatively well maintained, run by a broken down old bureaucrat named Tim Furd.  The rest of the planet are small domes or cave complexes filled with grouchy, insular colonists grubbing after cave crabs. However, the planet still reports a sizable population of three million souls.
