The University Club is a members only social club, with its own bar. All active and retired university faculty who care to pay dues are members. Members have access to its several conference and reading rooms, and may bring a limited number of guests.

The club is unfortunately often haunted by Hans Gruberman or by a clique of grubby communist professors.
