The Old Tower

The Old Tower stands on the highest point in the Crest Hill district, with a clear view of the major waterways all around Gotham. It is a minor tourist attraction, since it dates to the 17th century period when Gotham was part of the New Sweden colony. The guidebooks say that it was a windmill built by early Swedish settlers.

However, there is minority of scholars who say that the stonework and strange decorative carvings are all wrong for the 17th century or Swedes. There are various claims of a Phoenician, Irish, Roman, or Atlantean origin for the tower.

Some out of town sources call the place The Gotham Watchtower.
