The Gotham Bugle, a disreputable but very popular tabloid paper is actually owned by the respectable Elliot Family and Blair Elliot is technically the publisher. However, he keeps his hands off the day-to-day operations, leaving that to the editor-in-chief Manny Treski.

The public face of the paper is its star reporter Buck Greasely, who seems to be every, to see everything and to interrupt everyone.
