The Goose and Also Goose

Originally outside the city, in Colonial Times the Goose and Also Goose was a tavern and lodging for travelers coming to Gotham. It was flourishing in the 18th century, but as the city grew up around it, its market for travelers who wanted to stop and rest before entering the city dried up. It was a local bar for some time in Crest Hill, until in the early 20's when Prohibition came to town, certain well-heeled neighborhood types bought the run-down place and completely remodeled it. It became a fashionable tea house for proper ladies of the area. It still does good business, and is in fact a good place for a secret meeting or confidential exchange.
