Thaddeus Wilberforce Haversham, a.k.a. “Skip” is an energetic, well-educated and idealistic young man, recently graduated from Princeton. He's landed the job of editor of the terrible Herald newspaper and is bell bent on turning the dump around. He's almost laughable in his Princeton sweater with his upper crust accent, but often is out breaking stories himself, or trying to. He has a small apartment near the paper.
