A notorious coward and wolf, Orville Jackson works at odd jobs all over town and tries running cheap scams, which usually fail. Whenever he makes any money, he immediately wastes it trying to impress some dame. He does keep his ears open, and makes a little dough as a spy for the Carruthers Detective Agency.
