The house was recently the site of a horrific massacre. A labor demonstration by theGarment Workers Union turned into a riot, under the prodding of Falcone Family goons. However, a masked vigilante called Two Chains broke up the riot by murdering a half dozen of the crowd. At the same time, a Communist suicide bomber in a truck tried to destroy Myrtle and her house, as she was seen as the leader of the fashion business bosses. The bomber was stopped by The Puma Man, but did kill three policemen.
