Hotel Guano

Benton Chomski went on a trip to South America a few decades ago and fell in love with the Spanish-style architecture. He returned to Gotham and decided to build a modest hotel in that same style. Too cheap to hire a decent architect, he faked the look he wanted, to unpleasant results. His Spanish was also very poor and he named the place Hotel Guano (some surmise that he meant Hotel Guapo, but we'll never know).

Benton has long since passed on, but his Guano remains behind, an unfortunate, but well known landmark of Crime Alley. Not only is it old and ugly, it's not a very well run hotel.
