Fashion District

After World War I, many of the city’s garment factories moved to the area, carving out a plot of Midtown Gotham for its own. During the district’s heyday, vehicles jammed the roadways as they prepped to ship clothes across the country. Workers pushed and pulled around hand trucks, clothes hanging all over as they scrambled to haul materials to the next factory. Following the crash, the streets are less congested. Although the garment industry hasn't taken as big a hit as some of the more industrial factory jobs, there is still a noticeable difference in how this district operates.

Currently, there is a strong drive to unionize the fashion houses, led by the Garment Workers' Union, but the Falcone Family and the Communist Party are maneuvering behind the scenes to end up on top.
