This is an old revision of the document!

Eddie McCoy moved into an abandon soap warehouse during prohibition and turned it into a very economical, but surprisingly decent speak-easy. He doesn't technically own the building, he doesn't have a liquor license, since prohibition has been repealed. There's no electricity, no running water, he pays no taxes (apart from protection to the The Wound Ravens, but the place is a huge hit. It opens at sundown every day, and closes when Eddie gets tired (usually around 3 am).

Every day he brings in a load of cheap bottled beer, a load of ice (stolen maybe?), whatever hard liquor he can get cheap (but it's always above board stuff, never bathtub made), and goes to business. The warehouse is filled with second-hand chairs and tables (stolen maybe) and it lit with kerosene lamps. There's a bathroom system of buckets in the basement, that Eddie's staff empties into the sewer drains in the street outside.

Because Eddie makes sure everything is running properly, it's become a favorite place to hang out for the less pathetic half of the Bowery inhabitants.
