Bodine Floyd is a private eye and hunter of bail jumpers. He comes from Arkansas and plays that origin up, wearing overalls, smoking a corncob pipe and filling his speech with all the aww-sucks and y'alls he can. His rube act constantly catches people off guard, leading to much of his success as investigator and bounty hunter.
