The Orpheum

Once the heart of the East End, the Orpheum was a venue for legitimate theater, travelling opera companies, and the occasional vaudeville performance. It was undergoing renovations until recently, when the work crews started suffering a high rate of injuries and absenteeism. There is much finger-pointing between the theater owner (Silas Linden) and Gotham Underwriters, which insured the project.
