Headed by Sheriff John Doyle, this office is one of the most honest and efficient law-enforcement agencies in the region. There are about 50 deputies to patrol the county and guard the small county jail and courthouse. They are quite ruthless toward criminal suspects from the city gangs and will shoot first and ask questions later.
