====== Vinnie Falcone ======

Vincenzo Falcone was a capo in the Columbo Crime Family in New York city, but was sent with his crew to Gotham to set up a bootlegging operation.  It was immediately successful and caused Al Capone to send [[tony_two_bits_moroni|Tony "Two Bits" Maroni]] to set up a rival operation.

Vinnie is called "The Chopper", but no one in Gotham now knows why.  The two theories are that he used to commit assassinations from the back of a motorcycle or that he had the job of disposing of inconvenient corpses.

While more than willing to engage in violence (as is witnessed by his relatively successful war with the [[moroni_family|Moronis]]), Vinnie craves respectability more than anything.   He sponsored the updating of the [[opera house|Gotham Opera House]], and is always looking for opportunities to advance among the social elite.   He lives in a pleasant, but modest house in [[little_italy|Little Italy]].
